The Tooro Development Forum (TDF) is a regional umbrella initiative established as an affiliate of the Uganda Development Forum. Our purpose is to localize national ambitions into regional action, ensuring that the Rwenzori region contributes meaningfully to Uganda’s transformation into a self-sustaining economy.
We are a policy-oriented, evidence-driven platform that engages citizens, investors, and institutions in shared development plans. TDF delivers state-of-the-art local services and last-mile investments to ensure long-term development goals are realized.

Consultation with the National Strategic Cluster – Tooro Sub Region and Uganda Development Forum at Mountain of the Moon Hotel, Fort Portal.
Formal establishment of TDF as an affiliate of the Uganda Development Forum.
Expansion through Opportunity Strategic Cluster (OSC) meetings across Kyenjojo and the Rwenzori region.
Coffee, cocoa, Hass avocado, macadamia, dairy, and fisheries.
Rwenzori Mountains, crater lakes, culture, and eco-tourism.
Responsible extraction and beneficiation of resources.
